Tree Planting
RK Steel is very conscious about its environment and works very hard to reduce its overall green gas emission.
RK Steel has made it a habit to plant 1 tree against every day of its operation. Till date RK Steel has planted 2000 trees in local villages and communities that not only improve the overall appeal of the surrounding but also provide fresh oxygen for breathing. Planting trees improves the overall health of the community.
RK Steel will continue to carry out such green activities under its corporate social responsibility to ensure that it improves the surrounding in which it carries out its manufacturing activities.
Solar Energy
The world is moving to words becoming green by reducing its dependence on fossil fuel. Many new technologies have been developed that allow steel manufacturers to become green manufacturers, however, due to high cost many manufacturers are still hesitant on adopting these technologies for becoming green manufacturers.
RK Steel is conscious about its carbon emission and is very particular on working towards reducing its carbon footprint. RK Steel has invested heavily on various green technologies for reducing its overall carbon emissions.

Compressed Biogas
Compressed biogas is methane produced from agricultural waste like chicken litter or cow dung. It is a green alternative to fuels like wood, coal, LPG as it does not release any CO2. The CO2 which was destined to be released into the atmosphere during decay is redirected and released into the atmosphere after heating. Biogas is a renewable, as well as a clean, source of energy. Gas generated through biodigestion is non-polluting; it actually reduces greenhouse emissions (i.e. reduces the greenhouse effect). No combustion takes place in the process, meaning there is zero emission of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere; therefore, using gas from waste as a form of energy is a great way to combat global warming.

Unsurprisingly, concern for the environment is a major reason why the use of biogas has become more widespread. Biogas plants significantly curb the greenhouse effect: the plants lower methane emissions by capturing this harmful gas and using it as fuel. Biogas generation helps cut reliance on the use of fossil fuels, such as oil and coal.
Another biogas advantage is that unlike other types of renewable energies, the process to create the gas is natural, not requiring energy for the generation process. In addition, the raw materials used in the production of biogas are renewable, as trees and crops will continue to grow. Manure, food scraps, and crop residue are raw materials that will always be available, which makes it a highly sustainable option.
